Armonia red wine
IGT Toscana red wine
Grape type: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, other grape type
Plant density: 2 mt x 0.80 mt
Orientation: East - West
Harvest: picking begins during the first ten days of september. Hand picking and selection in the vineyard and transport to the cellar in small craves.
Wine making: fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature (28°/30°C) with a long maceration period (15/20 days) and the alternation of the wine to mantain a damp must in fermentation. This is done to enchance the extraction of natural colouring and noble tannin.
Rectification: takes place in stainless vats where the maleolactic fermentation cycle is completed.
Colour: deep bright ruby red with purple softening.
Aroma: intense, full and elegant, recalls scent of raspberry and red ripe berries. Winey when young it develops spicey overtones with ageing.
Flavour: sapid and generous, supple and dry. It goes perfect with typical Tuscan cuisine.
